The new design incorporated a massive transformation which included 4 bedrooms, study, and an open plan kitchen/dining family area. The old living space was converted into a ground floor bedroom, a bathroom for the 3 bedrooms, and a laundry integrated under the new feature staircase. Past the stairs leads into the new open plan kitchen, dining & family room. To create a sense of space the interior was meticulously design with integrated joinery and materials to create the sense of space and light. A large bi-fold door unit was designed off the kitchen & dining space to the 15 m2 rear courtyard area. This door along with well positioned skylights the living area create a large sense of space & creating large natural light gained into this home. This rear living area is design from boundary to boundary.
Leading up the feature timber stairs to new 2nd storey we designed a small study, Master bedroom / integrated WIR behind and a fabulous ensuite to has feature floor to ceiling stone tiles & feature neolith stone vanities to all new wet areas along with the fantastic island bench. Integrating materials throughout the home to create consistency.
Our aim was to create a large new modern home that was cosy & had all of the features you would expect on a larger home & we believed we achieved this and it is now a fantastic home. We are extremely proud to be involved with designing homes that are specifically for our clients.
